Dr. Allen has authored several papers and participated in research on sleep and memory consolidation, quality of life in multiple sclerosis, comparing TMS protocols and other projects. She authored a chapter on Sleep and Sleep Disorders for the Harvard textbook Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurology: Principles and Practice (2020). She is trained in the neurobiological bases and treatment of cognitive and behavioral manifestations of neurodegenerative diseases (dementia), multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, brain tumors, developmental disorders, traumatic brain injury and other disorders. Dr. Bess is a highly regarded teacher and psychiatrist. Dr. Nam leads SeattleNTC’s esketamine program. He is especially interested in helping patients who benefit from collaboration with both neurology and neuropsychology. While working at the University of Iowa he gained experience with ketamine and esketamine through the NMDA transmission research, the esketamine clinical trials and ketamine anesthesia for ECT. Dr. Christina Hughes is the Medical Director for the Kitsap and Tacoma division of Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center (SeattleNTC-Kitsap and SeattleNTC-Tacoma).
