I am a certified Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I got my nursing degree from Boise State, Masters of Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Case Western Reserve University and a Postmasters Degree as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from State University of New York at Stonybrook. I have worked in the mental health field in Boise for the last 20 years. I worked at several different agencies before opening Integrity Mental Health in 2018. Over the last 20 years I have seen all ages and diagnoses. I have spent the majority of that time seeing chronically mentally ill patients and children with mental health issues. At this time in my career I am wanting to focus more of my time and energy on seeing children and families. I have spent many years working with children who are on the autism spectrum and they have a special place in my heart.
I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns. I am passionate about mental health and firmly believe that working with vulnerable populations is my purpose. Although my focus is medication management, I believe improving mental health involves a holistic approach that addresses multiple lifestyle factors. I take pride in being a good listener. I genuinely want to understand where my patients come from so that I can develop a treatment plan that is evidence-based, holistic, and targeted to meet individual needs.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am experienced assessing and treating patients aged 16-65 for a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD and psychotic disorders. I have additional experience in treating late adolescents and young adults (age 16-25) in the first onset of psychosis and other mental illness. I enjoy helping patients make progress toward wellness and recovery. My goal is to provide care that is client-centered and focused on individual strengths. I believe that it is important to work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that is founded in evidence-based practice and also addresses the needs and values of each client.
Being born and raised in Idaho, I love getting to work for a small, but mighty Idaho grown company! Along with being true to my Idaho roots, I am proud to be a University of Idaho Alumni where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts. Go Vandals! I feel very fortunate to serve the Boise area as the clinic Office Manager and getting to work with such a stellar group of professionals. Integrity is happy to serve you and our ever-growing community. When not working for such a terrific practice, I can be seen doing my thing on stage in local community theatre productions or outdoors with my sweet mini-dachshund, Millie Sage.
We provide a difference through a holistic approach used by providers who have sub-specialized in the field they are most passionate about. We promise to be lifelong learners so that you are always getting the highest level of care. We combine medical interventions with psychotherapy, alternative therapies, coordinated care management, and the most advanced technologies. By taking the time to listen, educate, and investigate every treatment option, our patients are empowered to make decisions. This ultimately leads to higher levels of satisfaction and confidence in their team of providers. If you feel we fall short of this, we give you the opportunity to give us feedback so that we can make necessary changes as an organization and as a mental health professional.
