Eliot Klein, LPC, MT-BC, is a music therapist and licensed professional counselor, focusing on aesthetic experiences as gateways for healing and growth. His trauma-informed approach emphasizes supported expression and the inner creative life as sources of strength and connection. He received a dual master’s degree in Music Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University in 2019 and was granted the Dean’s Clinical Service Award for work with underserved members of the community, pointing to the cultural humility and empathy central to his therapeutic work. While at Drexel, he developed a strong interest in the overlaps between psychedelic therapies and music therapy as powerful treatments for encouraging peak experiences and processing emotions, memories, thought patterns, and trauma. Music is an important part of the ketamine experience, and Eliot can work fluently with this element in addition to traditional psychotherapeutic exchanges. Since 2019, Eliot has worked primarily with individuals in crisis, facilitating groups and individual sessions at the Horsham Clinic. Eliot also has a backround treating substance use. He has received training in psychedelic therapy from SoundMind Center and Voyage Healing.
