Dr. Pinson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Monterrery Mexico. His Anesthesiology Residency was completed at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas with an Advanced Clinical Tract. He then attended the nationally-recognized Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio under world-renowned expert Dr. Somayaji Ramamurthy, one of the founding fathers of Interventional Pain Management.
Tara has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University. Her work history includes 2005- 2008 at LifeCare Center of Cleveland, 2008- 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center, 2015 -2017 as a Chattanooga State Community College clinical instructor, and 2018-present with Pain and Spine Specialists. Her memberships include the Tennessee Pain Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she received honors with the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, as a Master of Science in Nursing, and reached the President and Dean’s list. In addition, Tara received the Tennessee Hope Scholarship and was recognized as the Erlanger Medical Center Best Role Model for 2017.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University where he was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. He began his nursing career in a cardio-thoracic ICU in 2010, providing care to open-heart surgery patients and those with other vascular-related issues. He then transitioned to urgent care from 2014-2022. Chris has spent most of his career in California, only moving to Georgia less than a year ago. He previously worked for Hospice of Chattanooga before coming to Pain and Spine Specialists. Chris is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Georgia and Tennessee chapters.
Lori Denny joined Pain and Spine Specialists in 2022. She has accumulated over 35 years of experience as a licensed healthcare professional, a significant portion of which includes managing chronic pain. She graduated from Bethesda School of Nursing in 1987 and obtained her masters in science from Chamberlain College in 2017, graduating with honors as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is an active sponsor for the Relay For Life team as well as a member of the Medical Reserve Corps.
Jennifer Grisham, DNP, APRN, NP-C, a native of Cleveland, TN, has served her hometown community for close to 20 years. She graduated in 2004 from Cleveland State’s nursing program and worked at Bradley Memorial hospital, now Tennova, as a medical surgical registered nurse. While working as a nurse she began the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Southern Adventist University in January, 2006 and completed the program in May, 2009. Jennifer has mainly worked in primary care her entire nurse practitioner career. In April, 2020 she started the Doctor of Nursing program at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky and graduated in June, 2021. Jennifer has a strong faith in Jesus Christ and desires to minister to every patient she encounters. Her mission is to treat every patient at their point of need. Working at Pain and Spine Specialists is more than a job; it is a calling. She has 3 children, and when she is not working, she spends her time with them. Jennifer is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
