Her family has a long tradition of producing physicians — she is the 13th doctor in the family, continuing a line that began with her great-great-grandfather. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as a proud Razorbacks fan. She enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities, and she loves the Gulf Coast.
