Gino Ang, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive professional experience in his field, is the medical director of his private practice, Ketamine Center of Connecticut, located in Milford and Wesport Connecticut. He specializes in safely administering ketamine to treat chronic pain and relieve the symptoms of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Dr. Ang graduated from Ross University, School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Commonwealth of Dominica, in 2000. He then went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. After finishing his residency, Dr. Ang acted as the attending anesthesiologist at New Britain Anesthesia, PC, in New Britain, Connecticut. He was also an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Yale University. During his three-year tenure as assistant professor, he became a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. From 2009 to 2010, Dr. Ang served as the medical director at Connecticut Surgery Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and practiced anesthesiology at several practices, including Meriden-Wallingford Anesthesia in Meriden, Connecticut, and Milford Anesthesia Associates in Milford, Connecticut. He decided to advance his education and received a Master of Business Administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Dr. Ang is an active member of the Connecticut State Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. For the last 15 years, Dr. Ang has proudly organized and participated in voluntary medical and surgical missions with the Philippine Medical Association of America and the Philippine-American Association of Connecticut. Alma Ang, a highly skilled and experienced nurse, is currently a leading Ketamine Infusion Specialist at the Ketamine Center of Connecticut. In this role, she specializes in administering intravenous ketamine treatments, providing essential emotional support, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their therapy. Alma began her educational journey at the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos in Bacolod City, Philippines. She furthered her education at the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School in Manila, Philippines, before completing her nursing education at St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Waterbury, CT. This diverse educational background laid the foundation for her multifaceted nursing career. Her professional experience is extensive and varied, including a pivotal role as a Cardiac ICU Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital from 1996 to 2018, where she provided specialized care for patients with critical heart conditions. From 2008 to 2014, Alma served as a Home Care Visiting Psychiatric Nurse, offering in-home mental health care. Additionally, her expertise in aesthetic treatments was honed as a co-owner and practitioner in a Medi Spa from August 2014 to June 2023, where she skillfully managed a range of aesthetic procedures. Alma also made a significant impact as a Juvenile School Nurse, addressing the complex health needs of adolescents in challenging circumstances.
