Thewanda is a Charleston, SC native. She is a proud alumna of Clemson University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2000), with honors. Go Tigers! She later obtain her graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro/Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (2011), with honors. She currently practices in the Charlotte-Metropolitan area as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and has over 20 years of healthcare experience. Thewanda is board certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist. Currently, Thewanda resides in the Charlotte-Metropolitan area. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exploring many different cuisines, and serving in the community with her church as a devoted Christian. She also loves spending time and doing activities with her family and friends. Thewanda thoroughly enjoys the art of anesthesia practice. Her passion is for helping people live healthily and happily to their fullest capacity. She has a personal mission to provide hope for a better quality of life.
