Munjal Shroff
,
DO

Dr. Munjal Shroff was born in New York City and raised in Atlanta. He graduated high school from The Lovett School and continued on to earn his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his adult and child psychiatry training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. After his psychiatric training he continued his sleep medicine fellowship at the Sleep Disorders Center at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M. He is currently an attending physician at Ridgeview Institute, where he served as President of the Medical Staff. He is a member of the American Medical Association, and a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is a speaker at regional and area meetings focusing on the overlap of sleep and psychiatric illnesses. He has also served on the Professional Advisory Board at Skyland Trail Hospital, and is an instructor of medical students at the Philidelphia College of Ostepathic Medicine Georgia Campus. Dr. Shroff is one of the few psychiatrists in the area who is board certified in both psychiatry and sleep medicine. This gives him a unique advantage in the treatment of both psychiatric and sleep disorders. Outside the office, Dr. Shroff is an avid automobile enthusiast who enjoys traveling and spending time with his young family. Dr. Shroff is board certified in both psychiatry and sleep medicine.

Paige Tan

Paige Tan is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis and University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has worked in health care for over 10 years in various settings including inpatient and outpatient care. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treats a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, school issues, and sleep/insomnia. She is focused on providing quality and compassionate mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. She believes in building a relationship with her patients based on mutual respect and providing individualized care that is a continuous partnership toward better health. She is looking forward to working with and supporting you in achieving physical and mental well-being. In her free time, Paige enjoys cooking, listening to music, hiking, and meditation.

Mariam Warsame is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Georgia State University with her BSN and Valdosta State University with her MSN. She has worked in healthcare for almost a decade, in a variety of specialties. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treats a wide range of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and sleep difficulties. Providing high quality and safe patient care is Mariam’s mission. She is looking to provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She is excited to provide well-rounded care to you and educate you in how to better manage your mental health! Roxanna Barzegar holds dual certifications as a board-certified Family and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Kennesaw State and Georgia State University, respectively. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Roxanna began her journey in 2013 and has since worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her expertise extends to conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for a wide range of mental health concerns. What sets Roxanna apart is her genuine dedication to the holistic well-being of her patients. She approaches every client relationship with positivity and compassion, striving to make a meaningful impact on their lives. Outside of her professional commitments, Roxanna enjoys an active personal life along with her fiance. Roxanna shares her home with a lively 4-year-old pup named Kira, and has a passion for painting. Roxanna’s multifaceted skills and caring nature make her an invaluable asset to our clinic, where she is committed to enhancing the mental health and overall wellness of our patients.

Shawn Green

Shawn Green is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in various administrative and clinical capacities. Shawn completed his Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University. He holds dual board certifications as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Master of Science in Nursing, Liberty University) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Post Doctoral Certificate Brandman University). Additionally, Shawn obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State College. Shawn has a passion for helping people and enjoys working with adolescent and adult clients who experience depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and/or psychosis. He provides compassionate, evidence based, and family centered care geared towards improving mental health. In his spare time, Shawn loves to travel and experience other cultures. His preferred mode of travel is cruising, which allows him to meet new people, relax, and enjoy the serenity of the open sea.

Maria Curtis

Genuine and caring bilingual therapist who enjoys joining patients and their families, helping them navigate their journey of gaining empowerment, commitment and healthy emotional expression. My preferred therapeutic model is symbolic experiential therapy and EFT (emotion-focused therapy) when working with families, couples and individuals. However, I also implement creative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions and promote mindfulness to regulate emotions. My professional and personal story has led me to be a well-rounded individual that can relate and understand people of all walks of life. I look forward to helping you find your path to wellness and peace of mind.

Sean Kirkland

Sean is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He grew up in Marietta and Woodstock, GA. before earning a B.A. in Journalism/Telecommunication Arts from the University of Georgia. He earned a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) from Mercer University’s School of Medicine. Sean has experience working with individuals, couples, and families in residential substance use recovery, and group therapy. He is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (GAMFT). He is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and is currently training to be a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional (C-DBT) in the near future Sean’s areas of interest include trauma, addiction, polyvagal theory, art therapy, phenomenology, epigenetics, sleep science, and neuroscience/neuropsychology. His therapeutic approach is a combination of symbolic-experiential therapy, including narrative therapy and sand tray therapy. He consistently stretches himself in the areas of seeing other perspectives and multiculturalism. Sean also provides CBT-I treatment for patients to overcome insomnia and improve their sleep quality. As a lifelong learner, curiosity is his guiding light. He is passionate about helping people break through to new experiences and new understandings of themselves and the relationships in which they live and breathe. When Sean is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, walking on trails, watching movies, reading graphic novels, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Angela Monette

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who grew up in Acworth, GA. She believes in empowering clients to live balanced and fulfilled lives by working through their fear, anger, and embracing their authentic selves. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Georgia and a MSW from New York University. Since 2006, she has worked in a variety of settings specializing in depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and intense trauma. She also provides LGBTQ+ affirming psychotherapy. Angela’s mode of therapy is psychodynamic, focusing on shadow and inner child work. Angela is currently seeing patients via telemedicine only. Outside of work, she enjoys going to street festivals, eating spicy food and watching Golden Girls marathons.

Elisa Piercy

Elisa is an Associate Professional Counselor, who earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She is under the supervision of Preston Jones, LPC. Her experience includes working with children, teens, adults, and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, and other challenges. Her experience as a nanny/house manager provides insight into family dynamics and an understanding that every family member brings a unique and special personality to the family. Elisa mainly uses an Eclectic approach that includes CBT, Solution-Focused, and Rogerian to provide a holistic approach. She believes that each therapy session should be curtailed to the exact needs of the client, which can be fluid and ever-changing. She enjoys getting to know her clients with openness, genuineness, and honesty. Her goal is to walk beside you, not in front or behind, during this difficult time.
