Kevin Kane
,
MD

Dr. Kevin Kane, MD, founded Edelica Health (formerly Ketamine Milwaukee) in 2017. He is a physician anesthesiologist, nationally known in the ketamine space. As medical director of Edelica Health, he has personally administered or overseen over 7,000 ketamine infusions. Under his direction, Edelica Health has become the preeminent ketamine infusion provider in the Milwaukee area – even featuring on CNN. Dr. Kane was born and raised in Wisconsin, a graduate of UW-Milwaukee (‘89), and completed both his MD (‘93) and residency (‘97) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has been a member of ASKP3 since its inception. He loves spending time with his wife and two daughters and can be found in the summers out on the lake, wake surfing, or riding his electric surfboard or e-foil. On occasion, he’s been spotted at a local fencing club with his girls, learning the art of fencing!

Megan Sloan

MSN

Megan obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UW-Milwaukee in 1999 and worked as a registered nurse for 13 years. During this time, she worked as a traveling nurse and lived in San Diego and Los Angeles. She returned to Wisconsin and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2012 and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She had been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner when she decided to listen to her true calling and specialize in mental health. She graduated in December 2022 from Alverno College and is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She joined the team at Edelica Health in January 2023. She confidently states – she is where she belongs! Outside of work she enjoys gardening (except for the snakes and spiders), binging a good tv series, listening to good podcasts or books, and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsay Holzhauer

BSN, APN

Lindsay has been a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2005. She is originally from Ohio, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Kent State University in Youngstown, Ohio. After graduation, she started working as a nurse at Ohio State University Medical Center, where she met her husband, who was a resident at the hospital at the time. They moved to Wisconsin, and she started working at Children’s Hospital as a critical care nurse. She continued her learning and earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Concordia University Mequon, where she graduated with honors. She has spent most of her career working in mental health, primary care, adolescent health, and women’s health. She has been with Edelica Health since 2020 and loves being able to help patients through their ketamine wellness journey. When Lindsay is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children. Lindsay also enjoys making the most of the Wisconsin winters snow-skiing and snowmobiling. She also tries to make wellness a priority in her life through nutrition and exercise.

Cody Brunet

DNP

Cody grew up in Milwaukee and Waukesha, and joined the Army at seventeen because he thought it was cool. His first deployment got him thinking about healthcare as a possible career. He graduated from UW-Oshkosh in Nursing, where he also met his future wife. He worked in the Fox Valley at an emergency room in Neenah for five years. He was then deployed to Afghanistan. When he returned to Wisconsin, he moved to Madison to continue his education and worked in the emergency room at UW Hospital. After graduating with his Master’s Degree in Nursing, he began his Nurse Practitioner career at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. He currently lives in Madison with his wife, seven-year-old daughter, three-year-old twins, and Jack Russel Terrier. He loves spending time with the family, playing games, and admits to knowing way more about Disney princesses than a grown man should.

Lisa Stransky

RN

Lisa is one of our main team members for consults, her kindness, compassion show through in everything she does. Lisa works as a forensic nurse examiner for Froedtert Hospital and is an adjunct teacher at Waukesha County Technical College. Her career has taken her through many aspects of healthcare. She started her journey in massage therapy 25 years ago (she was named best massage therapist in Milwaukee), has a certification in prenatal massage and is a trained Doula. She went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marquette University and is currently enrolled in UW-Milwaukee’s Doctorate Nursing Practice program with an expected graduation soon. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid volleyball player of 30 years and loves yoga, snowboarding, kayaking, camping and hiking. Her most life changing moment, was having her two beautiful daughters.

Charmaine (Char) Poppe

Medical Assistant

When you call or visit our office, you will most likely be greeted by Char. Char has been at Edelica Health for three years, but her career has spanned more than 35 years in the medical field. She has worked for several pain management clinics, a counseling office, and Aurora Health Care. She received her Medical Assistant Associate’s degree from Stratton College and then furthered her education and graduated from Alverno College with a Bachelor’s of Administration in Business Management. Char loves spending time with her friends and life-long partner, John. She enjoys the sun, and loves gardening and spending time in her pool with a margarita. She loves bringing in homemade treats with ingredients from her garden for the staff. Her specialties are salsa, onion chip dip, and shrimp Rangoon. She loves her patients at Edelica Health! She jokes and has a lot of fun with everyone. Her personality is as spicy as her salsa.

Lauren Peters
,
IV Tech

Lauren is another one of our amazing IV Techs, we believe in good IVs. She is a current student at UW-Milwaukee and will be graduating in December with a biochemical degree. After graduation, she plans on applying for the masters program in Anesthesia. In the past, she has worked as an IV Tech and Emergency Room Tech for Aurora. She was the “go to” person for difficult IV insertion at Aurora. When she is not in school or working, she loves spending time with her puppy, Finnley and her boyfriend, Joe. One of her favorite places on the planet is St. Kitts and Nevis (I had to google it). What a beautiful place, we are glad she came back! And when you are here, ask her about her saxophone days, one of her many talents.

Donabelle Robertson

Paramedic / IV Tech

Dr. Kane and Donabelle have known each other for over 19 years working together at Prohealth Care in Waukesha. She is one of our amazing IV Techs. She left Prohealth Care and became a Critical Care Tech in Hawaii. Missing the cold, clouds and gray skies of Wisconsin (all that sun and blue skies got really old), she returned to Wisconsin as a full-time fire fighter / paramedic. She currently works at the Monona Fire Department. She loves life and enjoys riding her motorcycle, boating and gardening. Her “grand babies” are the apple of her eye and she cherishes every special moment she gets with them. She relaxes while watching her favorite sports team, the Packers.

Justin V

Paramedic / IV Tech

Justin is another one of our amazing IV Techs. Justin attended UW-Whitewater and graduated with a Marketing degree in May 2020. He received his certifications and licenses in Paramedic, ACLS, CPR, NPREMT and PALS. He works as a Paramedic / Fire Fighter for the city of Franklin – they are very lucky!! When not working, Justin enjoys spending his days at home with his girlfriend and dog, having a home cooked meal and an evening bonfire with friends!!! He loves playing his guitar and is an audiophile and loves to listen to tunes on his turntable.
