E. Lindsey Bellinger graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in December of 2022. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her second Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UTA and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Miami Dade College in 2007. Her first Bachelors of Science was obtained at Sam Houston State in 2003, she majored in genetics, graduated Cum Laude, and played college basketball for the Bearkats. She began her nursing career in the emergency room as a trauma nurse in 2008. During this time, she was able to obtain a broad knowledge of patient care as well as assessment skills. She was a dedicated preceptor and educator and enjoyed sharing her vast knowledge of emergency medicine with new nurses to the field. She is an expert in phlebotomy and intravenous access. Her newest passion has become the treatment of chronic pain. She has dedicated her time to continuing education to develop a multimodal approach to pain management. She strives to offer her patients the most up to date procedures and treatments to manage their chronic pain. She takes an extreme interest in the treatment of Chronic Migraines to include specializing in Botox injections for these patients. She spends all her free time with her husband and her 2 children, coaching basketball, softball, and t-ball in the community. Over the past five years, I have sought out training in a variety of innovative treatment approaches. In 2009, I completed training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which focuses on using the body’s wisdom to release stored negative emotions. I became an EMDR practitioner in 2010, a world-renowned brief treatment for trauma that has helped me reach many children, teenagers and adults. In 20 More recently I have explored David Grand’s Brainspotting, a powerful therapy that allows rapid yet gentle access to negative memories and emotions. As of 2013, I am Level 1 and Level 2 trained. I find Internal Family Systems (IFS) a effective therapy which focuses on integrating our inner selves for emotional harmony. As of 2022, I am Level , 2, and 3 trained. I continue to learn about how abuse and trauma affect the body, heart, and mind. I completed my certificate in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in 2022 and now getting my certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy. Every year I am learning exciting new therapies I would love to share with you.
