Dr. Michael Musgrove began his career by completing his Pre-Med studies at the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce. He then went on to graduate from medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico with honors. Dr. Musgrove completed his residency in General Psychiatry locally at the Austin Medical Education Programs Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Musgrove was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2010 and in 2017 was inducted as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Musgrove has practiced in a number of residential treatment centers and correctional facilities as well as at Central Texas Mental Health. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Musgrove is a published author in psychiatry journals. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Musgrove serves a crucial role in coordinating the comprehensive care delivered to our patients.
