Melina is a native Floridian who has been in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. Melina received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida, where she graduated with Honors. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member in multiple associations such as American MedSpa Association and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Melina believes in a “whole body” approach to medicine which focuses on the entire patient, rather than a single symptom. She has trained extensively in platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin matrix therapies for use in aesthetics as well as musculoskeletal conditions. She is also a certified BOTOX and dermal filler provider. She previously worked for over 5 years at Synergy Medical In Bradenton, Florida where she provided hormone replacement therapy, IV infusions, regenerative medicine treatments, aesthetics and more. She and Ann Marie Catania CRNA also founded and manage a national recruiting and training company, Academy for Advanced Practice where they consult with other practices and train medical practitioners in aesthetic, regenerative, and anti aging treatments. Melina has a passion for ensuring that her patients receive top-notch and personalized care. She resides in Lakewood Ranch and enjoys traveling, playing the cello, and reading in her spare time.

Ann Marie grew up in Pennsylvania and received her BSN in Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University in 1986. She began her nursing career in the ICU and spent 8 years in all phases of critical care before enrolling in a Masters of Anesthesia program at Westmoreland-Latrobe Hospitals School of Anesthesia. She has been a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist since 1995. Throughout her 27 years as a CRNA, she has had extensive experience administering Ketamine to her patients. She had been offering this potentially life-changing solution for mood disorders in a safe, peaceful office setting for a number of years at Synergy Medical in Bradenton, which she founded in 2016. She believes in delivering the best and most current treatments to her patients, and Ketamine holds the potential to aid in the opioid epidemic as well as a treatment for major depression, suicidal ideation, & PTSD. She is a member of the ASKP3, American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists & Practitioners. In March 2022 she completed a 9 month advanced study in Ketamine Provider Training. She is a certified Biote bioidentical hormone replacement therapy provider and subscribes to a philosophy that treats the body as a whole, interconnected system which looks at mind, body, and spirit as contributing elements to a person’s overall state of health. She provides neuromodulator and aesthetic treatments, as well as IV infusions and medical weight loss, to her patients at Anti Aging & Ketamine Center. Along with her business partner, Melina Magistri, APRN, she co-founded an additional business consulting and training company, Academy for Advanced Practice, which trains and assists other practices and practitioners wishing to add more services like those provided in our clinic. Ann Marie is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA). Ann Marie has been a resident of Sarasota since 2006 and has raised her two children here. She loves to cook & enjoys dinners with friends & family. She is an avid live music fan, loves the beach & the Gulf‘s calming effects, and is a certified scuba diver.
